Our Mission
World Malayalee Council or abbreviated as WMC was formed on July 3, 1995 in New Jersey, is a non-sectarian, non-political community organization providing a global connectivity, fostering friendship and fellowship among malayalees across the globe and having several platforms under its umbrella for training, empowerment, service, support and charity.
WMC aims to promote the talent, skills, knowledge, work devotion of our people at a global level thereby helping them find job placement and also supporting them for higher studies in the USA and other countries
Inception
WMC was constituted in 1995 at Newjersy with the registered office in Texas USA.
Since its inception in 1995 it has grown in to an international organisation having presence in 24 countries with 46 provinces coming under 6 regions
In USA it has 16 provinces
Kerala Council which comes under the India Region has four provinces and under each province, various units are functioning
Altogether WMC now stands as one of the biggest networking organisations of both local and expatriate Keralites
In addition to carrying out various welfare, philanthropic, and charitable activities it aims to project and promote our state’s potential in eco/ pilgrimage/Ayush tourism
Ayush Tourism has tremendous potential after the inauguration of Ayush investment and innovation summit in Gandhi Nagar on 21st April where PM announced that a special hassle free visa category would be created for those who want to travel to India to avail these therapies
WMC facilitates a dynamic connectivity among Keralites for exchanging their experience, expertise and entrepreneurship for the welfare of our State
